The view: Sunsetover the Ozarks
The pilot: Serrhel Adams
The airplane: Cubcrafters X-Cub
The mission: Back Country Exploring
The memory: I was enjoying an evening flight across the Arkansas Ozarks. Here, I’m headed to a strip at Banks Ranch, 62AR. It is part of the FlyOz Network, and pilots in this area are so fortunate to have private strip owners who will share their beautiful landing locations. I was lucky enough to make landings at three of the available strips. There have been times when the wildlife refused to leave their grazing spots, as I’m forced to enjoy a low pass. Still, never a bad way to spend the evening.

I can’t figure out how you took that beautiful photo
I agree. Where was the camera?
For those wondering about the camera angle, my bet is that it’s an Insta360. It’s a popular one with many aviation YouTubers and it stitches together really neat shots like this (it’s usually on a forward facing rod to help it get such a wide angle.)
It is an Insta360 on a pole mounted to the two under wing struts. It does give you the ability to capture some amazing shots.
Your humble and wonderful photographer it doesn’t matter if it’s Aviation or underwater or landscape. I love your work thanks for being you. I’m blessed to have you as a friend.
