Toronto at night

The view: Toronto skyline at night

The pilot: Dean Smith

The airplane: Cessna 206

The mission: Flying over Canada’s largest city at 10,000 ft.

The memory: The dark water of Lake Ontario meets the bright lights of Toronto. The Billy Bishop Airport is visible at the bottom right, as a small island in the lake. It’s a pretty city, and I’m lucky to see it from here.

I, too, have had this experience. It is so bright after crossing the lake at night. Darkness then lights. Beautiful
