Clouds from Cessna 210

The view: Looking and flying due west over the South Carolina upstate—a 25 degree/30 mile deviation to shoot the gap between storms.

The pilot: Chris Granelli

The airplane: 1981 Cessna Centurion 210N

The mission: Mid-summer Friday evening flight from Charlotte to Atlanta to pick up son and bring him home for a weekend.

The memory: Spectacular views of filtered evening light between the dark scattered storms, including more than one rainbow and even more deviations. Well worth the added flight-time. Both ways.
