The view: The Great Pyramid of Giza, seen through a heads-up display

The pilot: Richard Pittet

The photographer: Luc Martineau

The airplane: Boeing 787

The mission: Airline flight across Egypt at FL360

The memory: Ancient technology and modern technology meet: what would the builders of those pyramids think about a Boeing?

Awesome view. Thanks for sharing. Being an airline professional of Egyptian decent makes me proud of ancient and modern technologies.

Spectacular. “The mission” may be at 36,000 ft. However, according to the heads up display, the picture was taken at just under 18,000 ft. which explains the actual perspective of the pyramid height.
