The memory: There were several substantial grass/brush fires burning in the middle of the vast King Ranch.

Dale Davis lives in the Texas Hill Country near San Antonio. He is a commercial real estate developer who uses a Cessna 206 to commute to business appointments and family adventures. He’s married with two children and one granddaughter. His Stationair helps to make day trips and get back home with family instead of long drives and overnight stays. He has been flying since 2005 and has just over 1600 hours in the Stationair.

I’m not a pilot, just a “Wannabee” but this picture is a good example of one of the weather conditions I have been studying!
Well now, I’ve heard that everything is bigger in Texas but I’ll tell you what. Unless that’s a campfire down there, come on out West during one of our bad fire seasons to see some smoke (and not much else). Nice picture though.
seriously just wait until u see some real ca wildfires
