Allen Epps started GA flying in 1984 at Franklin Flying Field, IN (3FK), but in the familiar tale of money for flying vs. money for college, didn’t finish the ticket. He joined the Navy out of college in 1986 and
spent the following 20 years as a Naval Flight Officer, flying EA-6B Prowlers active duty and reserve. In 2019 his wife said, “I have enough, you still look up at every airplane that goes over, go finish it.” He flies with the TSS Flying Club based at Gaithersburg, MD, and is looking forward to exploring New Hampshire by air as he and his wife retire.
