The view: Glacier Park, Montana from 11,500 ft.
The pilot: Wes Strubhar – Sweet Home, OR
The airplane: 1967 Cessna 182 Skylane
The mission: Enjoying the view of Glacier Park from the air in July of 2014
The memory: My wife and I had flown from our home airport in Lebanon, OR (S30) to Cabin Creek Landing Bed and Breakfast (97MT) near Marion, Montana. It is located on a nice private air strip. We spent the next morning flying over Glacier Park taking pictures and enjoying the view. It was beautiful beyond words. The various colors of the lakes were amazing, even just in this one picture; everything from light turquoise to deep cobalt blue. The bed and breakfast was excellent as well. Combining Glacier Park and Cabin Creek Landing made it an absolute dream vacation.
