The view: Bozeman Pass into KBZN
The pilot: Barry Marz
The airplane: Van’s RV-10
The mission: Flying 1000 miles from Milwaukee to Bozeman
The memory: Amy Laboda (editor and aviation journalist) and her husband Barry Marz did what any pilot would do during the summer – they flew a 1000 mile VFR trip in their RV-10. This picture was taken on approach to Bozeman, wrapping up a long day of flying. The weather was good VFR and Amy says, “summer vacation is perfect.”

Nice photo. I hope to one day fly a small airplane along this route too. However, I’ll have to do it without the first lady; she hates flying. Big metal or small, she hates ’em all. And she’s a professional photographer. Boohoo….
