The mission: Returning home from a checkride
The memory: My student had just passed her Private Pilot checkride in the airplane. Not surprisingly, she was wiped! So I got to fly us home to Palo Alto Airport. We got a wonderful view of Karl The Fog eating the Golden Gate Bridge.

Jim learned to fly when he turned 40. When he retired from software, he decided that being a flight instructor would combine his love of flying and hanging out with aviation people with the enjoyment he gets from helping someone achieve challenging milestones. He instructs full-time.
