The view: The Uncompahgre Wilderness Area while flying west towards Telluride, CO
The pilot: Greg Chestnut
The airplane: Cessna 182
The mission: Flying with a good friend (a pilot as well) of mine to Las Vegas for a trade show.
The memory: I’m glad we had a high wing airplane for the sights that we were able to take in. Crisp, cool mountain air made this an epic flight with unfathomable views. Later on to Page, AZ and then over the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas. A trip to remember!

Beautiful shot Greg! Brings back good memories! I also grew up in Colorado and trained at the Aspen flying club for my private pilot’s certificate.
