The airplane: Diamond DA-40
The mission: On our way to a birthday party in Jutland. We are living in Copenhagen and had just delivered our son to his grandparents, who live on the southern part of Funen. On our way to Jutland we were sightseeing a little to follow a sailboat race, where friends were racing.
The memory: Flying in sunshine with a few CB on the horizon to look out for.

Andreas and his wife have had their PPL for nearly two years and are at the moment in the process of getting their IFR certificates. They have been flying a little more than 100 hours each as PIC. They are flying both for pleasure and in their business as lawyers. Andreas and his wife started to fly because it was fun, practical and a challenge, but for both of them it has quickly become a great passion and something that is great to do together. The past year they have tried to fly many of the small single engine planes on the market, but their favorite is definitely the DA-40.
