Glacier airplane in France

The view: La Grande Motte Glacier, France

The pilot: Hrag Sarkissian

The airplane: Jodel Mousquetaire D140 with Skis

The mission: Glacier landing

The memory: While on a ski vacation in the French Alps, I decided to take the opportunity and enjoy a sightseeing flight from the altiport (this is a name given in France to airports at high altitude) situated on the slopes. Little did I know that ski-flying was a possibility. Four flights later, here I am drawing fresh lines onto the untouched powder of a glacier. Simply pristine.
