Nicholas “Nick” DauSchmidt is a U.S.-licensed attorney living in Vicenza, Italy. A former Judge Advocate with over thirteen years of service in the U.S. Army, he completed multiple combat deployments, primarily supporting counter-ISIS missions in Syria and Jordan. In 2023, during a particularly challenging time in his life, Nick decided on a whim to pursue his long-time dream of becoming a pilot. He has embraced the freedom flying offers and strongly encourages other veterans to explore it. Nick lives in northern Italy with his wife and their three children
