Miriam's fascination with flying began at age 7 when she first saw an airplane. Work areas included a job with an FBO, and employment as director of public relations for a general aviation airport and director of an aviation trades association. She was married to a professional pilot who flew corporate aircraft, which was another part of her aviation education. During those years there were also volunteer efforts in aviation interests of local, county and state governments and writing about those activities. Her writing efforts now focus on finding information about lesser known individuals whose efforts influenced the development of the aviation and aerospace industry. The fascination remains.
