Jake J. Friesen, www.fastforwardjake.com, was born in Canada, son of Russian immigrants, and grew up on Vancouver Island. His dream of flying came true in 1964 when he had his first flight lesson in a Cessna 150 on a grass field. Ultimately, he became a corporate pilot and charter pilot until he retired at age 70 in 2005. From his engine failure in a Cessna 150 to cruising around the world at 45,000 feet in a Gulfstream, he carried celebrities, politicians, musicians, professional golfers, basketball players, Hollywood movie stars, and entertainers; an aviation career of 41 years.
