About Fernando Pacheco
A low-time Private Pilot with 285 hours, Fernando was introduced to aviation as a youngster by his father. The two would go on many a Sunday drive as a family and one of his favorites was taking trips to the old Newark, NJ, airport in the 1970's as well as picking up relatives at both Newark and JFK and spending countless hours in the observation areas dreaming of flying. Fernando's passion continued as an Air Force maintenance veteran and he finally became a private pilot at the age of 50.
