About Clint Schamehorn
After a conversation with his wife's step grandfather - a pilot during WWII - Clint Schamehorn decided that there's no time like the present, got his private pilot's license (still called a license in Canada) at age 33, and bought a beautiful 1976 Cessna 172M. Five years and 400+ hours later, his only regret is that he doesn't have time to fly more. His greatest accomplishment in the air is convincing his wife and kids that a flying holiday to the Black Hills of South Dakota this past summer would be fun. Nearly 20 hours in the air and almost 2000 nm later, it turned out that he was right!
