About Cliff Mead
Cliff entered the US Army in 1985 as a Unit Supply Specialist. He applied to Warrant Officer Candidate School and Initial Entry Rotary Wing Training and was accepted in 1989, and graduated in 1990 as a Black Hawk pilot. In 1995, Cliff attended the Aviation Maintenance Officer’s Course and UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot Course. In 2001, he was qualified as a UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot Evaluator. Cliff retired in 2012 as a Chief Warrant Officer 5 with over 1,000 combat hours and over 1,000 test flight hours. He currently works as a Maintenance SME for Army Aviation and owns a PA32RT-300.
