The airplane: Cessna Conquest II (C441)
The mission: A flight from Scottsdale to Sedona for lunch.
The memory: It was late October a few years ago and my in-laws were visiting from Chicago. Living in Scottsdale for almost 25 years, I always flew friends and family up to Sedona for lunch at the Airport Restaurant. It was a no brainer.
As we ate lunch, a rain shower came through. Not only did we see a rainbow, we watched as my newly painted aircraft was getting soaked. After lunch, the weather had cleared and it was time to fly back to KSDL. Lunch was great and definitely cost me more than $100 for my hamburger.

Tim began flying in British Columbia in various types of floatplanes including the C-185, DHC-II turbine and DHC-6. He progressed to flying twin Cessnas and Hawkers. Tim moved to Scottsdale AZ in 1995 and started Gemini Air Group in 1997 which he sold in 2021 upon retirement. Tim is presently living in Montana and flying his C441.
