Transitioning to a glass cockpit sounds intimidating to some pilots, but it doesn’t have to be. It mostly means learning how to fly the Primary Flight Display (PFD). While the large moving map on the Multi-Function Display (MFD) is nice, it’s actually quite intuitive – so the real adjustment is understanding all the tapes and annunciations on the PFD.
