Gary Travis began flying lessons at age 18 in his hometown of Danville, VA, and has been flying for over 42 years. He has a commercial license and is instrument rated. He flies his 1979 Piper Dakota for both business and pleasure flights. His pilot’s license was instrumental in building a successful business with offices in three states. Gary also enjoys photography and shares the beauty of flight with as many others as possible. He uses every opportunity to promote the advantages and adventure of general aviation in an effort to give back to something that has given so much to him.
