Aidan grew up in the Florida Panhandle, where he enjoyed seeing a variety of aircraft soaring overhead. He quickly became enthused with aviation as a teenager, leading to him earning his Private Pilot certificate at 17 before coming to Liberty University for his undergraduate and graduate degrees in aviation.
As a professor and flight instructor, Aidan has enjoyed the thrills of mentoring new instructors within several CFI programs. His passion for aviation is demonstrated by his years of flight instruction with dozens of sign-offs across Private, Instrument, Commercial Multi-Engine, CFI, CFII, and MEI courses, developing a CFI program, and even earning his Commercial Seaplane at Jack Brown's Seaplane Base. Aidan enjoys getting to share life with his lovely bride, Emily, and mentor others' growth, not only in aviation, but also in their personal lives.
