Bill Gronbeck is a 77-year old ex-airline, freight, and survey pilot with 20,000+ hours flight time. Aircraft types flown include DC3, F27, Argosy, F28, and DC9. Qualifications include Check, Training, and Instructor approvals. After retiring at age 67, Bill was shanghaied by a local flying school as a casual/fill-in flight instructor. That has proved to be a most enjoyable experience, especially when teaching ab initio pilots you suddenly realize that you have developed a few smarts during your flying career and can put something useful back into aviation.
