Dr. Jones has a forty-year career as in business, first in marketing with AT&T and then with to a start-up industrial company. He has worked in more than 60 countries, published more than forty technical articles and has presented at industrial conferences on four continents. More recently, Jones has served for eight years on the Pinehurst (NC) Airport Authority, most recently as chairman. He’s a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a 4,000 hour commercially-rated pilot, and is a well-known aviation writer. He earned his doctorate at the University of Florida (2023) and also attended Columbia University (M.B.A., 1976) and Grove City (PA) College (B.A., 1973).
