After spending most of her career as a schoolteacher, Kimberly Prodan was given a gift that changed her life: flight lessons. Soon she traded the classroom for the cockpit, discovering she enjoyed teaching one motivated student at a time. She went on to instruct at several reputable flight schools, teach ground school courses, and help countless pilots reach their goals.
She owned a Cessna 172 for nearly a decade before selling it this past April and officially retiring. Fortunately, she has friends with airplanes who are always happy to bring her along, giving her a front-row seat to real-world flying beyond the training environment. A teacher at heart, she now relishes the opportunity to enjoy flying purely for the experience.
She has been a CFI, Commercial Multi-Engine Land, and Instrument-rated pilot since 2009.
