About Alphonsus Hobbins
Alphonsus is a private pilot who took his first flight in a Champion Citabria in Limerick, Ireland, in 1966 and got his PPL in 1979 after some interruption, like marriage and kids. He is a founding member of the local flying club and is still current with almost 800 hours. He has been active for most of that time. He likes to fly cross country and also to fly in other countries when he gets the opportunity, like in Australia, Canada, England, France, and Malta. Alphonsus flies Tecnam P2002s now and has a share in a Eurostar EV-97, which gives him great freedom to indulge his total passion for flying and all things aviation.
