The mission: Giving rides to deserving kids
The memory: This Cub was used to train pilots in World War II and later for crop dusting. Now it has a much more important mission: giving kids their first airplane ride. On this flight, the passenger was Luke Kallaher of Lindale, Texas – a straight A student and talented drummer. The early morning was beautiful and the flight from Terrell (KTRL) to Van Zandt County (76F) with the windows open was just perfect.

Steve, looks like the kid is really enjoying that ride in the J3. Excellent picture and I am sure that young man will never forget the day he took a ride in a J3 cub.
Now that is what I like to see. A youngster being taken flying, and flown by a pilot called “Steve Ellis”
