The mission: Saturday sightseeing and lunch
The memory: My wife and I flew from Sacramento Executive airport up to Mt. Shasta for some Saturday sightseeing. On the way home we landed in Redding, CA, at Benton Airpark for lunch before flying back to Sacramento, CA.
Dale's father was a private pilot so he hung out at the airport a lot as a kid. He always thought it would fun to learn to fly but it wasn't until he was 53 that he found the time and money to get my license.
